Just about as safe as going to any other school to see the game when you know your school is gonna win. They'll be pissed, but get over it.
B.) Do I really want to drive all that way to see the but kicking they will recieve?
The drive is NOT worth it. It's long and boring. Not something you wanna do on a regular occurrence. To see friends you might not see often it could be okay, but driving by yourself is gonna suck ass.
C.) Is Kliff really serious about being as good as an other QB?
All we can do is laugh...
D.) If I go since I know LCC students bring Alchy into games in flasks and vodka into games in water bottles does that increase my chances of getting the shit kicked out of me wearing an OU shirt to the game?
All schools have that possibility, if you know these people you have a good chance of just being verbally abused, as for physical.... just be careful with what you say.

Okay still waiting for real rivalries to hit UT and A&M. Granted A&M played Notre Dame (with an 0-2 record coming in so no real decisive win), Texas Playing Tech (yeah and my loser of a high school could beat Tech so no real win there either), Nebraska and Missouri (oh yippie another team my high school could beat). I will say Texas was showing a little of the goods on Saturday. And I chaulk another W on the board my boys. I too give props to Hybl for taking that direct hit. Shows what happens when you put a freshman in at center. And a very smart move by taking the safety at the end of the game.

Let the Red River Shoot Out commence. I will be getting ready for the game by having a Bevo Burger smothered in Red Ketchup followed by some form of Alcohol. No I don't have tickets, that's just $200 for a couple tickets I just don't have right now. But I will be in The West End Friday night with my OU bikini clad friend (I won the bet) So if I see ya I see ya, if not oh well.

I dunno, as long as the people around you aren't senselessly drunk, it can be a lot of fun to sit in the wrong section... especially if you win. Although I do agree--I don't cheer anywhere near as loud as I do when I'm in the UT section.

Well if you sitting in the opposing team's student section and you are cheering for your own team, what the fuck do you expect is going to happen? A&M and UT aren't the only schools where you'd be harassed.

If we're going to talk about sitting in the wrong student section, A&M is just as bad as Texas. In '99, I sat with Kurt and *cough* Jess in the A&M student section. Wasn't harassed, as such, but I damn sure didn't cheer all that loud, as I was repeatedly "hushed". Just saying, it works both ways.

Nope, Pete was referring to last year's A&M/UT game when I was sitting with him in the UT student section and wearing my Maroon Out shirt.

About the fans....I went to the A&M-UT game last year, and I can say that I wasnt treated well at all, but thats a total given. Hell what do you expect? The only reason Brian probably didnt get more shit is cause ya'll were playin Tech. Also, I was in the card student section, screaming for my team, and wearing my maroon out shirt, which just about pissed off alot of people. Its all in fun though, rivalries only add to the experience.

Wow, what a great, drunk weekend!!! Great games across the board, and great parties in both places. It seems to me that Brian had a great time at Dan & Kurt's party. I had A BLAST at the River Bash on River Road. As far as Petus goes, I assume that he hates A&M (m&a) more than he likes UT (t.u.)

any name calling i ever did was explicitly pointed at you, petus, and should not be misconstrued as knocks on all horns. i never used any of the degrading phrases you mentioned (t.u., liberal hippies, etc.) because you're right, i don't like it when people say the same kind of stuff about a&m so i don't do it. somehow, though, you continued to have this idea that i did and would not stop knocking ags while still preaching about the respect and decency that i lacked in my comments. i'm not saying that my comments weren't rude (because they were - to you), but they were not aimed at all horns, so i don't understand why you still felt the need to keep ripping a&m instead of just me. i do agree that this should end so the message board can get back to normal, but i still don't understand the reasoning behind all your comments. gig'em...hook'em.

Well hopefully this'll put an end to the 3rd grade "m&a" versus "tu" debate going on:

1) There are dickheads at both schools.
2) The majority of students at both schools are pretty cool in general though.
3) A&M is better academically in some departments, and UT is better academically in other departments.
4) A&M and UT both have good football teams
5) BOTH SCHOOLS are into the A&M-UT rivalry, but most of us realize it's just a damn rivalry and not the basis for determining our self-worth.
6) Calling Aggies "faggies" is just as stupidly childish as calling Longhorns "t-sips".
7) Aggies stereotype Longhorns, and Longhorns stereotype Aggies. Realize that this little fact will NEVER change. Aggies are sheep-fucking rednecks, and Longhorns are pot-smoking liberal pussies. It's just a fucking cheap shot we take at eachother...we all know (or at least, anyone with a smidgen of intelligence knows) that most people at A&M and UT are pretty much alike.
