there were more people in that little protest than i figured there would be. one sign caught my attention...WWJB; "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" i think that was my excitement for the day.

Faulkner gets my vote. If he didn't condone and even encourage such crap, we wouldn't have to deal with it. Free speech is one thing, but condemning over 60% of the student body because a few black students get offended by a frat party is entirely another. In case you can't tell, I'm really annoyed by his e-mail.

With all the "racial" controversy, you now know how most of the A&M students feel when some damn organization really messes up.

Can ONE week go by here when there aren't 20 groups having anti-war protests/walk-outs/sit-ins/etc.?? Good lord, don't these people have classes or jobs to deal with?

UT's campus is going to be complete and utter mayhem tomorrow. SG campaigning starts in roughly thirty minutes (I should be on campus now helping--oh well), there are the south mall campers, there's a walkout at 11:30 tomorrow morning that culminates in crap taking place all over the mail mall and east mall and west mall tomorrow during the day to protest the war, to say nothing of the Clinton speech tomorrow night and the inevitable protests by conservative groups. Add in the heightened security, and you have a wonderful, chaotic day when no one will get anything done.

There's a bunch of hippies camped out on the South Mall right now, protesting war, Bush, and pretty much everything else they can think of. Geez, ya gotta love UT. It's like "Dazed and Confused" meets 1968.

I was standing in the Union talking to a friend about Clinton's speech tomorrow, and some girl actually offered us $75 per ticket when she overheard us. Wow.

I think that all the white UT students should be forced to pay reparations to all the minority students. For both the frat party and for slavery. You filthy bigots.

i dont know, with out the help of the order of the balls and shaft she probibly wont get much done, i mean what a horrible track record, but on the other hand, theyve allready got a good start on the protesting thing.

UT might as well start measuring "sensitivity levels" around campus and bring in President Garcia-Thompson to run things.

I am a nutless figurehead who has to toe the PC-line so that I look good to the UT community. Therefore, I strongly condemn anyone and everyone who went to the KA party, as well as all white students in general, who must all be inherently racist based upon the actions of a few. I've read a couple of articles from the Daily Texan online about this frat party PC bullshit and I have yet to find that guy's name as either an "activist" or a "writer." The party wasn't held this year. It was held for several years before. Hence the individuals who showed up in KKK robes. Who, by the by, were black. And see? It isn't just Aggies that are racist and hostile to minorities. It's ALL Texans.

By the way, I like how now that it's happened to you Longhorns ya'll are all upset when before, when it happened to us, ya'll were like so-so indignant.
