I second that.

I say we base all of these guys on one game and one game only.

I was just repeating what the commentators/analysts/insiders have all been saying about Kliff (weak arm, product of the system, etc.)ever since the season ended. But I guess they could ALL be wrong and you could be the one who is right...

Oh, he is?
Compared to Palmer:

Palmer wound up 9-of-16 for 74 yards and sat out the second half. Simms was 6-of-15 for 52 yards and Kingsbury was 4-of-7 for 28.

Palmer was 9/16 = .5624
74 yards on 9 = 8.2 ypp

KK was 4/7 = .5714
28 yards on 4 = 7 ypp

Not a whole ton of difference there. Thanks for trying, though.

Simms was 6/15 = .4
52 yards on 6 = 8.7 ypp

Kliffy is also showing his passing numbers were a true product of the LCC system and nothing more.

P.S. Yes, I realize there aren't any Aggie QBs out there today in the Senior Bowl, but we Aggies acknowledge that our senior QB (Farris) sucks.

Oh, poor poor Chrissy Simms. He just threw a goaline interception that was returned 99 1/2 yards for a touchdown. Some things never change.

So is Eminem a cross burner? After all, he's a white guy who acts ghetto...

Saturday Jan 18th 9:46am
Me  - Texas A&M

About this ghetto party thing: While I was eating dinner at Jin's the other night, our Chinese waiter overheard us talking about it and, since he was from Walton, decided to inform us that it was totally blown out of proportion. He said that about 25 football players were planning to attend, and they were all black, and that the dude with the KKK outfit was black! He said it was all in good humor, much like a white trash party's which are thrown on the 19th (Robert Lee's B-Day). So, anyway, I don't see a chinese guy and a bunch of black football players burning crosses anytime soon.

So I'm a retarded user, Fat Tire? ;) Kidding.

It's beyond me what you're supposed to wear to a party when it's this cold out and still look halfway nice and attractive... bulky coats are not what I'd call flattering.

my laptop is 4yrs old and serves me just dandy. i've gotten lucky...no crashes, no viruses, no retarded problems that come from a retarded user.

man, 1200$ would build a pretty damn nice machine. plus, in my opinion, you'll learn a lot in the process. assuming you delve into the building of it, and research what you're putting in. i know i learned a lot just spec'ing out the machine i was going to build. my roomie just spent 1200 on his monitor. no wait, i think the price was dropped. it's a 21" Dell LCD. i think his comp cost 1400$, and can out perform anything i've seen. pretty aluminum case, too, with an acrylic outer shell.

i just rode with Marshall Hance. i'm happy.

I call them blacks.

Bluto... yeah, I know.
First off, no need in calling me a "retard" when A&M officials themselves said it was embarrassing.
The difference is, other places have these parties on any old friday or saturday night... NOT on MLK Jr. Day... the day before classes, which shows it is obviously thrown to disrespect african americans.

Just go to Dell.com and get one of those desktops for like $699. Get at least a 1.5Ghz processor, 256Mb of RAM, a CDRW, and a 30Gb hard drive.

As for the comment about when Aggies are going to "start burning crosses", man you are a retard. A&M is not the only school to ever have a theme party. Ever heard of "trailer trash" parties or "Pimps 'n Hoes" parties? Yeah, every school has them.

Hmm... honestly, the biggest problem is that my dad is funding this, so the final say comes from him... hence the trade-in question. I'd rather donate it, but it's his decision since he's paying. I've got Moulin Rouge on here, but I guess that's not enough to make it happy. Thanks for the advice from you guys, though.

On another note, anyone out there looking to live in west campus next year and in need of a roommate? Mine just called and backed out, saying she decided to live at home with her parents... which would be fine, but we were about to sign our lease, and at this point, everyone else I know is already committed to where they're living next year. No, I'm not pissed...

See? gotta keep the computer gods happy with the porn.

The 2350 won't last you as long as the 4550 or 8250 will - it's older technology. If you care, the processor is an older version of the pentium 4 with a slower front side bus. This processor has two downfalls (in comparison to newer procs - it's still a good one in it's own right) 1. It's only rated to 2.2Ghz, while the newer procs go to 2.8 Ghz, and 2) It has a 400Mhz front side bus, while the newer P4's run at 533 Mhz. This means you can run faster memory inside the newer computers, and faster is better.

The older machine? I've found that it's more trouble to clean and primp and find a buyer than it is to just take a sledgehammer to the fucker and enjoy the sound of crunching metal. Office Space-like, ya know. Honestly, old computers make great donations to the salvation army or goodwill - they really can be put to good use.

JD, I thought about building my own (God knows I've got enough geeky friends who could do that for me and help me get the parts), but I've got no idea how to fix it if something goes wrong, and the Dell support guys and I have had several chats over the years when my computer has decided to do something stupid. I also thought of cleaning out the one I've got now, but my friend looked at it the other day, and laughed at the size of the case, so I'm not sure that's such a great option. Plus, I'd like to have a 2nd bay for a DVD drive... at the moment, I've got the CD-RW, an A drive, and that's pretty much all the space I've got.

And I think it hates me, anyway--a little over two years ago (when it was less than six months old) it decided to stop displaying ANYTHING on the monitor. That was fun. Then, last year, it decided to get rid of Windows. Again, lots of fun. I take care of it--I dust it, I try to clean out old mp3's every month or so, I don't write too many papers on it--so who knows? Maybe it's bitter because there's no porn on it.

What about the 2350 they've got for $699 with the mail-in rebate? Good deal, or not? And is it worth it to trade the old one in?

I once had that stupid video from a Tech baseball game someone sent me where two morons decided to have sex in the stands... does that count? But I promise--I'll download some sort of porn (and then probably promptly delete it) as the inagural act of my new computer just for you.

JD  - Lubbock Community College

Kelly, I know you didn't ask me... but I am a computer tech, so I thought I'd chime in. While I still contend that it's usually best to build your own, you're probably not in a situation to do that. I always recommend Dells as the best PC maker other than Alienware and some others that make hard-core systems.
Depending on your hardware in your current computer, it could probably stand to have a workover (clean out, replace fans, format & reinstall, etc...) That will generally improve your performance and restore your pc to its original condition. You could replace all fans, etc... for less than $30 and just find someone who's tech-savvy to do the format and reinstall.

Anyway... Aggies... when are you going to start burning Crosses?
(I know this doesn't represent *all* aggies, but definately a good number...)

no internet porn? I refuse to help someone with that restriction in place. It's just ... not right. :)

Dell Small Business has great deals. That's where I got my last computer (I won't tell you the specs, because due to some mysterious alignment of all possible stars, I got the deal of the freaking century). From dell.com, check this out.

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=04&keycode=6W463&l=en&oc=dim455i

Lots of Ram, upgraded video card, with a monitor. $1020 or so, something like that. Plus, you'll get a $100 rebate, and shipping is free. That's a really good machine. It's the one I bought, minus a few options.

Hey Josh--you work at Dell--mind giving me a bit of your humble opinion on a computer? I've got a Dimension L667r at the moment, and I've had it for a little over 2 1/2 years... basically, I hate this thing. My dad ordered it, and didn't bother to ask me what I wanted out of the computer, so here I am, strapped with a $1,000 investment that can't even handle multiple IE windows being open at once. I've gotten through to him that I need a new one, and he's agreed to fund it (mostly because if he'd bothered to listen to me 3 years ago, we wouldn't have this problem--and it was my dime that bought 75% of this piece of crap machine).

So, since I generally use the computer for internet crap, downloading music and movies, word processing--the basic college functions, though no internet porn--what do you reccommend? And I'm on a budget--I'd like to stay under $1200 with tax.

I'm not 6-6. I didn't play on the team. I don't think you played for UT either. The success of your football team is not a direct reflection of your own personal success. So, if you think it does, I stand by my insult . . . putz.

bob, I can't make fun of your basketball program too much - ya'll are actually winning some things this year (not to mention beating us at HOME last year). I've said for years that Melvin Watkins was going to make serious positive changes at that school. It's really starting to show this year (and that Wright kid is helping :)).

But we'll always have 6-6.

Hey guys, dont you think its time to move along now. I mean, shouldnt we drop the football thing and make fun of the basketball program now?

Did your comment get insulted when I called it a fuck-head? I'm sorry, I didn't know it was so sensitive.

I didn't call you anything, but you called me a putz. Of course, I could have called you 6-6, but that would have been mean.

Man, it really sucks when you have an appetite for some late night online gambling and you realize your bank and your credit card both do not allow you to deposit funds in online casinos. Bastards!
