JD- Seeing as I'll be working at the Capitol after next semester, unless you become an elected official, you won't become my boss. And while I've met 6 Ags and 4 Horns that work at the Capitol I've yet to meet one Raider.

Since no one else pointed it out and a new subject on the board is sorely needed, I figure I should mention that Roy Williams said last night that he would stay at UT for another year.

Thoughts running through my head on my way to my 9 a.m. final:
- sleep? what's that?
- did I shower yesterday?
- everything's laid out so that all I have to do when I get home is crawl into pajamas and then into bed
- what I wouldn't do for a 10 minute nap right now...

If your life goal is to be a grammar nazi there JD, you might want to work on that comma placement.

Me:
You might not be able to get a job better than Domino's delivery, but believe it or not, that's not what all college students do!
For your information, I work part time IT at TTUHSC.
Next year when I graduate, I'll be an Electrical Engineer, and within a few years, your boss. I will find where you work, and get the job above you just so I can point out your grammar mistakes.

Eh, I'm advertising, so whatever business grads have to wear, I'm probably going to have to wear. I've accepted the clothes--it's the shoes that bother me.

a guy i worked with a couple summers ago was in the business school back when it was pretty much a joke. i guess back when there were 11,000 kids in it. good ol' Alfred Norman spent a good 30mins ranting about the business school one day. quite entertaining. the fact that suits are pretty much required is enough to keep me out.

I don't know about that. I've taken some pretty hard classes. Once you get past the requirements for admission to a specific business major, the courses aren't too difficult. A lot of the classes require a great deal of outside work, and there are a few that are hard with certain professors (Allison, Business Law), but overall, the aggravating part is all the bureaucratic nonsense. Everything is so prefabricated and departmentalized that most professors don't even have the freedom to teach how and what they want to teach. If you ask me, the only reason it's so hard to get into the business school is because there are so many applicants and they have to filter out the haves from the have-nots, if you know what I mean. It's not because you actually have to be a genius to get a business degree, although if that's what all the big companies want to think, it's fine with me.

I've heard from multiple people that it's getting into the business school that's hard--once you're in, you've got the easiest degree at UT, except perhaps for elementary education.

I don't suppose any of you happened to be taking an accounting exam in Hogg Auditorium at 2:00 today. That was the biggest freaking joke I have ever seen. The building was not even unlocked until 2:15, the prof and TAs passed out SEATING CHARTS for several hundred students and it took a good 20 minutes for everyone to find their specifically numbered seat. Then they had to pass out each exam one by one, with verification that the right person was sitting in the right seat. It was almost 3:00 before we even got to start our exams. I swear, our corporate ass-kissing business school is about to drive me insane. If not for the fact that I will be raking in the dough one day because of the name on my diploma, I would have changed majors a long time ago.

OK, spelling... yeah, it's easy to make type-o's
Sentence structure... if "we" don't call "you" out on it, who will?
I'd rather have an asshole on a messageboard point out my poor sentence structure than my boss.
