I agree with the sentiment on the boards, but would like to point out a few things. The '93 WTC car bomb wasn't bin Laden, it was another towelhead terrorist who said he would come back with more money and do it right one day, although they were linked with bin Laden. The problem with retaliation is that the terrorist organizations work in very small cell units and are extremely difficult to track down. bin Laden is known to live in caves and has been running from people for years now. An example needs to be made though, and that's the bottom line. If Afghanistan was wiped from the planet along with all Taliban territory, I wouldn't cheer. But I would have a hard time finding much sympathy.
Personally, I am just glad that it wasn't worse. If bin Laden had had the foresight to somehow add biological weapons into the mix, that cloud of dust and smoke and death would have been much more devastating...
Last thing, I can not believe our President, the sock puppet he is, hasn't said more than he did yesterday.
