Hey CharlestownSC, shouldn't you and your butt buddies be out showering together or engaging in some homoerotic hazing? If you look closely, it's the red retards who have the identity crisis and the inferiority complex, because if they didn't they wouldn't bother visiting a site that is admittedly in existence to trash their school.

As a Sooner who wastes his time on this board I have little regard for Tech students. When I work with 3 raiders who can't tie thier shoes without help, it tells me something about the school. I only have 2 and half years in Architecture school, 5 years in real world practice. No degree, not even a majority of my arch. related classes taken, and I know more than a Tech student who has been working in an office setting for 8-9 years now.
That is why I bash them.

Not because of Tier status.
Not because of US News Standings.
Not because of Academic Stats in whatever major.

But because they can't even draw thier way out of a paper sack let alone draw a building with any success. That is why I get more respect than an "experienced" tech alum here. I fix thier mistakes. Football teams change with the season, and yes the trash talking is about the fun and release of tension. It happens, but IT'S ALL IN FUN. people take it too far and that's when it gets ugly.

I support Tamut in all that they do, because unlike alot of people they are in college doing the college thing. Partying and enjoying thier 4 years (typically) the best way they know how. I have respect for that, since I didn't get that experience. So drop your insults to a 4th grade level, bring on the "get your guns up" cuz that's the best you can do. I have respect for a few raiders (FEW being the operative key word) But I know from my experience with a few Raiders that I am better they are. And think it scares some of the Lubbock folk to accept that.

This goes out to Texas A&M ----> I attend The Citadel, and I was once a resident of Texas. I have a friend who goes to the university of texas and told me to visit this site.. He said it was "funny." If your a Texas A&M student, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Pride isnt about putting down others who attend diffrent universities within your own state. That is the problem with Americans these days. I should accept the fact that you are "inexperienced". But you have no idea of the harsh reality the real world has instore. Go and tell a person who lives in your state who cant afford college that you attend UT or A&M. Then come back and post what they say..Probably wont care!! Everybody thinks they are somebody, even if it is at the expense of degrading a fellow American. I would have to agree with the statement from a person who posted a message concerning an " Identity crisis". Texas A&M/ UT, You guys are attributing factor to the problem with America today. I find it hilarious that the same (7) University of Texas students and Texas A&M students reply to the variety of messages posted by Tech students. I find it even more humerous that the thousands of other students that attend your school are intelligent enough not to waste their time. So Rich, just how easy is it to get a 4.0 out there in Raiderland?

If anyone has ever really looked into the criteria US News uses to rank colleges they know these rankings are worthless. But as with most things in life, people see something printed and believe it, regardless of the source or means for gathering the data.

To all those people talking about "class," there are students at every school who have class, and there are those who lack it. If you are looking for "classy" and intelligent students, don't come to this website. Go to the Residence Halls Association websites, the Greek websites, and the Student Government websites. This website was designed for students at UT and A&M to trash Tech. No matter what happens, the attitude of the students on this website is not going to change. So if you are looking for intelligent, open-minded people, stop going to this message board. If you are looking for a good laugh and reassurance that you made the right decision as far as what institute of higher learning you chose to continue your educational pursuits at (i.e. you want to laugh at all the idiots from other schools), this is the place to be.

Last I checked, LCC was still Tier 3. Apparently the red retards are the only people in America who think they attend a good school. Yes, ok...c'mon and quote me your "reliable statistics" about how some obscure Tech engineering program is really great. But I'll still trust the national rankings of US News before I trust anything coming from the mouth of a red retard. Just face it...you attend an inferior school. Does it deserves to be an inferior school? Who knows, maybe not. But according to almost every ranking of colleges, IT IS INFERIOR. So shut the fuck up and deal with it.

Because "class" is telling us about your family's "seven figure income". You completely just disqualified your statement by saying that "money does not buy class".

Is that Texas loss going to hurt the Sooners in the "quality wins" segment of the BCS? I think it will, since Texas dropped like 8 spots in both polls.

I am in your own words a " Lubbock Community College" student. I came across this website and had to humor myself by writing and wasting my time. I would like to start off with your pictures. It suddenly came back to me why I chose not to go to the University of Texas. The people who attend both UT and A&M have to spend, I mean "waste" there time trying to proove who they are, or think they are.. It's not the grades that kept me out, because I have a 4.0 GPA. It's not the money, because my family grosses in the seven figure income bracket and I wanted to go to school in Texas.. When I visited the University of Texas, My family noticed that the people there had "0" class. The total campus had a certain arrogance that reminded me of Anna Nicole. She is the white trash stripper who made it big only because she married a Texas Billionaire. MONEY does NOT buy Class! That arrogance can be seen in your website. For instance, you think just because you attend the University of Texas or A&M that it will make you a better person? I tip my hat to those alumni from your school who have made it big, but just because they brought a name to the University doesnt mean the new students will.. This is where current Texas Tech Students have an edge, and we know it. You spend so much time talking about acedemics and grades, when in reality it was the generation before you. I am sure it would bring them great pride to see a bunch of fat guys who have no life, drunk pictures, ugly girls and stupid drunk stories to tell... See guys, this is why Tech students appear to you guys as "classless." Because we know what are competition really is and we kick back, relax and enjoy ourselves.. When you sober up and receive your diplomas, Make sure you tell the Tech Alumni whom you will be interviewing with you attended the University of Texas or A&M.

That is one thing I respect about A&M... (all the items you mentioned)

Wow, this place has just gotten mean! Mainly from the Raider side (notable, recent exceptions excluded.) Including insinuations of Nazism at A&M? I tell you what, nothing says Nazi more than a military academy that's graduated 20+ Medal of Honor recepients as well as the birthplace of Rudders Rangers which took Point Du Hoc at Normandy on D-Day.

Ashley, I have the same great things to say about UT... y'all had some awesome plays. Seeing that huge TD pass was amazing, made UT look really good. It was a battle back and forth at the end, we won because we had the ball at the right time, it could have easily gone the other way though. UT played a great game.
One of my friends who went to the game went to Florida for his undergrad, and was a football freak there. Even after all the Miami-Florida games and al those other huge games... he said he would say this Tech-UT battle was within the top 3 he's ever seen. So, I tok that as a pretty good compliment for both schools. :)
