And no I didn't apply to Tech. I applied to UT (never heard anything back), A&M (was accepted), Washington Univ in St. Louis (accepted but couldn't afford $36,000 a year), Pratt Univ. (New York Architecture school, accepted but again too expensive), and OU (was accepted, given more credit hours for A.P. Exam scores, and given $3,000 scholarship.) And when you compare the OU out of state tuition, housing and fees and what not, it was $400 more than A&M with in state tuition, housing and fees and whatnot per year. So with the scholarship they offered me, OU was $2600 cheaper than A&M. It was all about the Benjimans. Plus I couldn't see myself doing a shit load of traditions. Don't like the culture of College Station all that much. I preferred Norman. Small College town within 20 minutes of City downtown. kind of like a suburb setting. And I absolutely love OU's campus. So beautiful in the fall with the leaves changing and then covered in snow for winter is awesome. I mean hell it was the closest place I go to experience the sight of a 6' tall penis made of snow in the quad.
