A playoff system is not far-fetched at all, but the BCS is all about money and until there is some kind of proof that it doesn't work, it will remain in effect. It expires after the 2005 season, and then the whole system will go to the highest bidder. I'm guessing the Disney/ABC/ESPN group will come up with something. But for now, the basic argument is that the BCS has never produced an undeserving champion.

just have the good sense not to make fun of A&M via a band performance. They have very underdeveloped senses of humor, and tend to trap your band in tunnels for hours after games, forcing you to sneak out in vans.
