Let's get real...A&M has won 3 of the last 4 A&M-UT games played at Kyle Field. I'll freely admit that A&M usually blows ass when they play in Austin. But regardless of how each team was ranked each year, in recent times it has been a close game when it's played at Kyle Field.

Let's wait and see how each team develops throughout the season before we start making our "big swinging dick" predictions.

It won't really matter because your national title aspirations will be ruined by Oklahoma before then.

i somehow doubt that ags will be the ones shying away from you if we are humiliated. more like you will be in the middle of a lot of pissed off ags with your orange shirt, trying not to gloat because you know it would get your head kicked in. but that's just my opinion...i could be wrong.

Im just going to enjoy coming to cs on nov 23, and watching all the ags shy away from my orange shirt after witnessing their own humiliating defeat, somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-10.

JT said it first, and I have to agree. To this point in the season, UT and OU have looked basically like carbon copies of each other - offenses that are supposed to be great are looking rather pedestrian, while games are won with incredible defense and special teams play. Texas has probably the best pass defense in the nation, and OU has, without a doubt, the best run defense in the nation. Oct. 6th should be fun to watch.

I think the offense showed up nicely...in the second half. The offense was lacking in the first 30 min of the game, but it dominated the third and fourth quarters. We had the ball for almost 11:30 min in the third quarter, thats some ball control. It is nice though, to be able to score on special teams and defense, Ill take those points any day.

Pretty damn cool how the score ended up being 44... weird odds, but a nice way of remembering.

Simms was never on my list, but then again none of the Big 12 QBs are. By the way happen to catch the pre-game show of the FSU game? It's not retired, but Wienke's jersey number and locker won't be used anymore. Also I do have to give props to Texas. I know it's a rare occurunce I assure you, but the not taking of the extra point in tribute to the fallen. Nice touch. Koudos.
And on that touching subject. Boomer Sooner. *chaulks another W on the board* Makes OU the team with the longest unbeaten streak in Div. 1 NCAA for the time being.

I love it when freshman stand around talking about how cool they were last weekend because they went to a keg party. The helpless look in their eyes is funny too. WhoooHoooo....

It's the most fun when you see one standing on the corner trying to hide the fact that they're staring hopelessly at a map.

Freshman ... I love freshman. The best part is watching them try and decide if they're going to stop someone and ask them for directions, or just continue to wander aimlessly. I'll help, but only if she's cute - grin.

I love watching the freshman walk into classrooms, and then walk right back out. And then you give them vague directions to the other side of campus for their classes...

In two years after changing coaches, you're 3-9 ... oh wait, that's was when you hired Schnellenberger. In two years after you changed coaches, you're 4-8 ... oh wait, that was when you hired John "The Human Man-Breast" Blake. In two years after you changed coaches, you're national champions ... yes, this time you got it right, with Stoops. Changing coaches is NOT an exact science. Take a look at UT's record when it comes to hiring coaches. You can't say that John Mackovic was a "good fit" here. And our first choice before Mack Brown was Gary Barnett, who is currently in the process of sucking ass at CU (seems to be reversing that trend recently, but UT has 3 9-win seasons in the meantime). Although, I do agree that it's time for RC to leave, I'm gonna be sad to see him go. He's been one of our most valuable assets in the last 6 years or so.

True test Notre Dame at Home? You played McNeese State at home and came away with it just barely. Your talking Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish. ND game only starts the upward climb (excluding Baylor) for the ags this season. And I did some looking around aggieathletics.com R.C. has been at A&M since 1989. No offense to the man, I know he's the winningest (is that a word) coach in A&M history, but sometimes every school needs a change. Look what happened to OU when we changed coaches. In 2 years we're national champions. Just a suggestion.
