Okay I was at the bar last night watching Wyoming hand the Ags thier ass and say kiss this. It didn't matter that A&M won last night in points, they lost an emotional battle. I mean please, the Cowboys did a DAMN good job keeping Ferris and the front line at bay. And then thier is Scates. I know he's the punter, but still. 3 missed field goals. Although I liked his pattern of kicking. Wide Left, Wide Right, Wide Left. Not sure if I will enjoy this season for the ags as I watch them head downhill, or just feel sorry for them.

My roommate started working for Accenture earlier this week. From the 25 people that started with him, 5 are left. Being layed off before the first week of work is over has got to suck. And one of the 5 is an OU MIS major that didn't know how to open the C: drive. HOW can you be an MIS major hired on with a major consulting firm and NOT know how to access a C: drive...the world never ceases to amaze.

Sounds like a good topic. Although strengthening (sp?) trailers would only make them heavier flying objects. Either that or just a heavier piece of metal to turn upright. There is a company in Oklahoma that makes trailers of heavy gauge steel construction. The firm I work used them to take 14 trailers and put them together in one large room as a temporary sanctuary for a church in Plano, while thier permanent facility was under construction. If you want more info on that your welcome to it.

I have this stupid civil engineering technical communication course. I have to start a project in there, culminating in a 12 page report and an oral presentation. I think I shall do one covering the design of residences, and the cost/benefit analysis of steel or wood-steel structures (in light of the tornado problems), and I may include a part on possible strengthening of trailers.

I was told freshman year at OU that UO is Univ. of Oregon, hence to be different choose OU. I have no idea, seems a stupid reason to me. And the joke about the Tornadoes wasn't funny. When the F5 came through just north of campus in 2000(less than 10 miles away), everyone was sent to the basements of the dorms, the sirens were yelling. And when the sirens stopped, my roommate and I drove up to see the damage. All I can say is that is one experience I never want again....Just this path 1 mile wide ripped right through the ground leaving nothing but that red Oklahoma mud in it's wake. And if your going to get the architecture jokes right. At OU, double wide construction is an upper level course. Trailer construction is the freshman year objective.
