You study? Bwahahaha....

I don't. Much. And when I do, I drink simultaneously. In one brain cell, and out the other.

ah, studying in any library is hell for me. that's why i camp out at Metro.

as for the ACL Fest...those commercials are the absolute worst commercials i've seen in a good while. i'd like to go see Monte, but i gotta go to F-burg tomorrow.

I stayed awake so long once that a sign which actually said "Summer Work" appeared to say "Shiner Bock."

I'm kinda pissed about that whole PCL thing also. What the hell is up with that? Studying in the UGL is like trying to actually get work done in the Millenium Lab at the business school. Not much is gonna get accomplished and anything that does probably isn't being done correctly. Gotta love big ass state universities.

BTW, anyone gonna be at Zilker Park tomorrow for Austin City Limits Fest?

I pulled an all nighter Tuesday night. Me, my roommate, and a 1.75 bottle of $10 vodka had it out until 7am. Damn was I tired for my test Wednesday.

Well, the problem now is that I'm at that weird point where you've been awake for so long that you're just not tired.

And Josh, I'm not an engineering/architecture/anything that complicated major--good old advertising for me. The only all-nighters I should be pulling are to finish projects, not cram for tests.

And I really hate studying in the UGL. It's pissing me off that the PCL closes at 1.

One time I stayed awake for 60 hours. I started seeing lightning in the sky. Only problem was, it was a clear blue sunny day. That's when I decided I needed some sleep.

All-nighters are helpful and all, but the real fun comes after you have stayed awake for two consecutive days. Your concept of reality becomes blurred, and you start to get borderline hallucinations.

Thursday Sep 26th 9:10am

i haven't pulled an all-nighter since freshman year. after failing a final, which lead to failing a class, i decided sleep was more important.

It's the end of September and you're only on your first all-nighter? No complaining, you're getting off easy!!

:).

And all-nighter number 1 for the semester is winding down... 3 hours to test time.

Okay Kiddos, Money tip of the week from the King of Debt himself, yours truly.

When making payments on sizable loans, make sure to write in the blank space somewhere visible and legible on the check "Payment Made in Lieu of Penalties and Interest"
What does this do? Means that when they put that check through Legally they have to put the full amount of the check toward the principal balance. What they normally do is pay the interest and then put the remainder to the principal. If they do not do this you can hold them liable. I have been writing that little nugget on my checks I've written to pay off my outstanding balance with OU. I got a letter stating I had missed 3 payments and looking at the amount it's all the interest that would have acured had I not written that little sentance on my checks. Well OU just ate that those 3 payments themselves.

Gotta love friends in Legal places and laws made to protect people in debt.

G Daddy

Next Week : Why pay with Cash when Businesses don't get all of what you pay with Check Cards.

hey betik, I blame RC for your offensive woes. Bob Toledo, remember him? Mildly successful at UCLA? Fired, by RC. *SIX* offensive coordinators in seven years? How is that NOT an indication of the level of quality of a head coach?

RC is UT's best asset.

of course...i consider it tradition.

It's about time, and yet I will certainly hear someone in the stands still blaming RC for our offensive woes.

Texas always chokes against Oklahoma? If you were two years old, I'd forgive you for that comment. You don't want me to start spouting numbers, dude. I'll give you 77-17 over the past two seasons, but beyond that, you're in over your head.

If these first few games are any indication of what's to occur on Oct. 12, you should probably sell your ticket because you won't be having much fun. You guys might be ranked #2 in the AP by some miracle of God, but let's review the facts. Your #1 QB is out. Your #3 QB is out. A strong wind could probably knock your #2 QB out. Your vaunted defense hasn't done much to be proud of. I was expecting a little more from guys like Woolfolk, Harris, Strait and Wilkerson. Maybe you can send the Stoops brothers a few tapes of the Texas defense. And let's not forget that the Sooners haven't even seen Cedric Benson yet. I honestly don't see what you're getting so excited about.

As for A&M, the Wrecking Crew has proven themselves to be better than OU's D. So it probably comes down to which team's OC finds a brain between now and then. And since those are in short supply in Oklahoma, I'm gonna have to go with the Aggies.

Hey, Kunta, don't get pissed just because your football team can't beat OU. I know your still sour from that 63-14 game two years ago. You have no room to talk, especially since OU has racked up a shitload of points the last couple years on your supposed national championship bound team. Texas always chokes against OU. A&M is another team that constantly chokes. Everyone acts like its the biggest baddest damn team around, but how many times in the last few years has A&M actually finished in the top ten? How many national titles does A&M have? You guys always pick on Texas Tech, hell, I bet they will beat you this year. I know OU doesn't have their A game on right now, they still have a few bugs to work out, but they win when they need to.

I don't know what I would do without Alt-Tab, Ctrl-C, Ctrl-X, or Ctrl-V. They are just so much faster than right clicking or otherwise. Of course, I also think I am one of the few people who actually uses the Windows key.
