While I've never heard of people laughing about the clock-tower incident, I have heard of some t.u. fans last fall proudly wearing t-shirts sporting a pile of logs with the phrase "Can't get it up, Ags?" And other fans cheering the fact that 12 aggies died as a result of the collapse. All things being equal, that's fucking sick.

Seriously. Dude. It's UT. We are A&M, they are UT. Both are mighty fine institutions. Tech, on the other hand, is full of imbiciles and can justifiably be called lcc.

I guess it is hard to really judge a whole group of fans by a few isolated incidences, but I think we need to anyways. I'd have to say Tech fans are the worst. They vandalized A&M buildings after the game last year. Heck, some even came to Mignight Yell and tried to start shit(Thanks Jennifer for brining one of those guys). The only think any Tech fan has to hear was some ribbing from the yell leaders at Midnight Yell and Eric's yell of "I hope you all get syphilis and die." outside of Kyle Field.

There is a point to using "tu" (as stupid as that point may be). I guess "m&a" means we are "inferior mechanics and agriculturalists". Ouch.

Its ut. Oh, and we have obnoxious fans (yes, this is sarcasm). The trash talking occurs on both sides. Im sure that if i went to a game in cs, and m&a magically won, that they would be just as offenise and crude. And whenever i go to cs, im a guy from tu. UT do not tarnish the image of other schools emblems, and many a times i have been flicked off, cut off, and harassed by people with ag and ou stickers. Its a two way street. Im not going to pretend that my school doesnt do those things, because some people do. But to imply that your schools do not do the same things is ridiculous. ut supported m&a when the bonfire toppled, yet now ags laugh and jest about the clocktower shooting (which could be arguably more tragic, but thats beside the point). I dont harass people i know from ou and m&a, with the exception of betik, but I have run into many people who have done so to me, especially from ou. My eyes are jaded to the image of ut, but im not about to pretend that my school is perfect and that the other schools are heathens. And i guarantee that for every documented case of these ut incidents, i can find one from ou and m&a.

UT doesnt have a fish camp, doesnt center songs around hating other teams, doesnt deface other teams mascots and images, but I can find those in ou and m&a.

I dont have as much beef against ou, because so far i have only had a few minor run ins with some people from there, but each time it was them who harassed me. m&a has a serious inferiority complex, and they need to get over it.

I've yet to run into the awful UT fans you speak of, and I've been to my fair share of football and basketball games. However, I do attend the school, so perhaps I turn a blind eye without thinking, but I've never been anything but civil to A&M and OU people. And I've also found it difficult to hold onto UT stickers on my car on the rare occasion I'm in College Station. I now have several backups.

There are two times I've had problems with the fans of opponents. Once was at OU Weekend last year, post game. I was walking around the fair to get to the exit I needed when several drunk OU males decided it was time to crowd around me and "compliment" me... *shudder* The other was at the UT-Tech football game last fall when I had quite a few tortillas hurled at my head, along with rather nasty comments from several frat guys, but I guess I asked for it when I wore a bright orange jacket in the Tech student section.
