I just end up in the right places at the right time. Went to Lunch at Cafe Express in Mockingbird Station. Saw the 99.5 Wolf van outside the Sprint PCS store. Walk in. Show my Wolf card to Dingo (one of the DJ's) and he hands me 8 tickets to Willie Nelson and Lee Ann Womack for tomorrow night. I'm amazed how quick a couple of phone calls get 8 people together for drinking and fun on the lawn at Smirnoff music center.

This is the shit that makes me want to drop out of law school and never be among the ranks of shysters like this. There is a lawsuit against fast food companies by some lard ass, claiming that even though he voluntarily ate fast food 4-5 times a week, the restaurants are "responsible" for making him an unhealthy fat ass.

The plaintiffs want "more healthy options available in fast food restaurants".

i was in 8 person van (with 10 people shoved inside...g-parents, aunt, a couple uncles, and their kids) for 26hrs driving from Fredericksburg straight to Grand Rapids, MI. that was absolute-fucking hell. none got sick, though, thank god.

Delayed response to the residency thing but hey I've been busy.

To establish residency in Oklahoma:
A. Live & work(fulltime) in state for 6 months without going to a Public University or State Institution with the intent of living and working an additional 6 months.

Basically I'd have to work fulltime and take a semester off. Only problem with that is the defferment on my school loans starts after 6 months. Which would kill any extra money I would make while working. It's a damn Catch-22. Oh well. I'll graduate someday. I'm on the 10-year degree plan.

And it takes me 3 hours 15 min. to drive from N. Carrollton to CS down 45 through Madisonville.

Typing Monkey, that was easily the second worst drive I've ever been on in my life. First is still a tie between driving to El Paso, or driving to Lubbock in the dark and in the rain the entire time. And my parents decided that since we're doing the "family thing" this Thanksgiving with relatives coming in, I have to make the drive to Austin for the game in one day. Lovely. Gotta love the fam...

Well well well...seems like the old message board has gotten along just fine without my infinite wisdom on everything. Don't have the internet at my new house yet, but will soon. Just wanted to say hi to everyone and hope that you all are having a good summer. Mine's going ok besides the recent hospital visit (near mono), psoriasis, home getting broken into, and a horribly bad haircut. But anyway, saw Eight Legged Freaks yesterday...exactly how I wanted it to be...very campy and totally in tune with what it wanted to be in the first place---a great spoof/sendup to the old 50's sci-fi bug invasion films. Next on the list...Reign of Fire, Minority Report, Mr. Deeds, Attack of the Clones (again), and Signs!!! Yippie! Allright...I'm out.
