Yeah, damn those professors who strategically schedule their exams the day after important social events. One of my professors really outdid herself though. Test the day after the Super Bowl and another test the Monday after Spring freaking Break. What the hell is up with that?

Why does the professor call on you on the one day you didn't read the shit for class because, unlike the professor's nerdy no-life-having ass, you actually drank beer and watched the Super Bowl?

i read that the commonly stated rule is that easter day is the first sunday after the full moon that occurs next after the vernal equinox...so yeah, i still have no idea why easter is when it is. i also read that this somehow means that easter can never occur before march 22 or later than april 25.

Mardi Gras is always 46 days before Easter. I'm not entirely positive of the reasons that Easter is so early, but there's why Mardi Gras is. If you want any more useless facts, just ask. I grew up there, so I can tell you more or less anything you need to know about the city or Mardi Gras itself. Anyone going, you suck, but I'll be there next year with free food and a free place to stay.
