You better recognize Trinity's dominance of division III sports.

This was a good weekend for college football, but everyone seems to be ignoring the big game: Trinity vs. Washington U of St. Louis. Those guys think they're so fancy, but we whupped them good. Roy Hampton (Trinity QB) made Chris Simms look like a scared little girl.

Wow, 2 back up players are fucked up and skin a cat. Big deal, if the shot a deer no one would care. Plus I'm sure your all of your athletes are of top moral character. Also, I said nothing about Baylor being some big 12 powerhouse. I was just saying that in a lot of other sports we are ranked higher. You guys spend money on football and we spend it on something else. No big deal.
P.S. Has ya'll showed up in the OED yet?

The ESPN/USA Today poll looked a little screwy. I have no idea how an awful looking win over Baylor made us move up, but I don't mind that. I am not sure why Colorado is unranked. I know they would be the 26th ranked team, but they are 4-1 with their only loss coming to 10th-ranked Fresno State, 24-22. I think their 16-6 win over K-State in Manhattan should've put them at least in the top 25.

Ok Im a frequent visitor to this site. I usually come here for the party pictures of Dan's place. But today I decided to explore the site further and I am seriously disturbed by the ignorance of the TECHCHICK and that Richard Dunn guy. Its quite pathetic to believe that people like that exist. But keep up the good work, and continued bashings of the TECHCHICK. Yes I e-mailed her retard ass I couldn't help it.

Ya gotta love the drop from #5 to #11. I say it again, Applewhite please. Simms is great--but Applewhite has the better mental game, and I think that might have made a difference on Saturday. We'll see what happens next week...

Baylor Matt:
Well, last year we were 1-2 against ya'll in baseball (2-1 the year before)... Which I can live with that considering our players don't skin cats.
Last year we split the basketball season.
Last year I won't even mention the ass kicking we gave you in football.
There are your 3 moneymakers... You were saying?
(Please don't bring up that Baylor leads the Big 12 in sports in general, as no one cares that you place first in table tennis every year)

As a huge basketball fan, you will see me at most of the A&M games, as crappy as we may be. You always get great seats and it is good times. It is pretty pathetic how we have an attendance of like 2000 for each game, if that.
Major Applewhite has a mental game that Simms would have to work real hard to have. Simms has the size and physical talent that Applewhite lacks. If you comined those two, you would have the baddest ass QB to every grace Texas. The problem is, you have to choose one and after three years, you still can't decide. (Mack Brown)

Hell, it doesn't matter. No one gets anything based on how well their sports teams do. Its all about the research. That's why the best schools in the world are the ones that don't even have sports programs.

Is this the same group of "redass" Aggies that haven't been showing up at basketball games for the past 3 years? I'm no redass, I guess you could consider me a "2 percenter". But I laugh my ass off when people make comments like that, because when Reed Arena has 400 people in it for a weekend game, you make yourselves look stupid... If you're going to support Aggie sports, and bitch about those who don't, then show up to Aggie sports -- not just the ones that are decent year in and year out... That, my friends, is called a fair-weather fan.

I just informed Typing Monkey that that degree is no more. It is now reserved for university scholars(read big nerd). And, believe it or not, no telecommunications degree, its either journalism or broadcast journalism for the folks on that path.

Oh, let's not bring academics into this. We all know that the majority of athletes don't actually go after "real degrees" regardless of what university they go to. Hell, Baylor actually has a degree plan that is just a generic degree plan of sorts. I forget the name, but it is the equivalent of making General Studies a 4 year plan at A&M. Plus, I don't think anyone can actually say that A&M was playing to the best of its ability this afternoon. Of course, the fact still remains that this game was a huge moral defeat. We better show up at Folsom Field. As far as the Texas/OU goes, Simms is taking the bashing because Texas lost. Everyone wants Simms to fail because of who he is. In all honesty, I think he has the tools to be a great QB. However, I would've started Major at the beginning of this season. He is much more consistent, and consistency is all you need with those bad ass receivers.

I'm sick of this a&m bullshit about how they always "play down to another team's level" or "it was bad coaching." Sorry, our players have to go to real classes and graduate with real degrees at an 80% rate. Plus, I'm not on the team and neither is anyone else, so we don't really have any right to complain. I thought it was a pretty good game, and why can't people just accept it as that.
P.S. The OU-Texas game was a well played match. Simms' doesn't deserve the bashing he is being given. They played a better team and lost, and not by much as a matter of fact. Their is no shame in that.

I didn't see the texas-oklahoma game but I got a great look at Fag Simms' 4-int masterpiece! Anyone who says that a quarterback is not responsible for an interception is full of shit. Some blamed it on the o-line, who in almost all situations is not responsible for picking up a blitz. Some blame SHOULD be given, however, to a running back for not picking up this blitz. But ULTIMATELY it is the qb's fault for not having the "vision" to see a blitz and get rid of the ball a bit faster or get the fuck out of the way.
On another note:
I am sick and fucking tired of listening to people bitch about how shitty our coaching is and how bad our players are (granted we did almost get beat by a highschool-talented team). Our renound school spirit is being destroyed by dipshits who dont support our fucking team. Another example of this is this mass of people that dont show up to the game or leave early. I guess my view is that if you arent going to at least pretend to be redass at a football game then DONT FUCKING GO!

You guys say that shit every year. Also, he IS responsible for three of the four picks. He chose to throw the ball into coverage and he paid for it. He is so fucking overrated and I hope Applewhite gets his job back. The fourth interception was a freak-job though. Oh look at me, I started a game 8 for 8 against Tech. Tech for God's sake. I hope he fucking dissapears and lives with Musberger on a ranch somewhere.
