Ah, ok. In that case, yes...they are a mood killer. Although I'd still be happy to be getting laid.

That was stated with the unsaid understanding that you'd know your partner was clean, and that the girl was on the pill.

So is AIDS, and/or pregnancy.

Yeah, but condoms are such a mood killer.

Well Bluto, you bring up an interesting point about me having conversations with myself. Ever since I was seven years old and in Mrs. Cottrell's english class, I have been known to hold meaningless and trivial conversations within my soul. It's odd, I know, but dammit if I can't stop. Sometimes I'll be riding the subway to Tech and people will just stare at me with these blank expressions like, "What the hell is that really, really, really ridiculously good looking kid doing?" What am I to do but smile shyly and say, "Cool." But I digress. ROOT BEERS FOR EVERYONE! And a root beer for my new friend, Mr. 50 Cent. He's dope yo.

To anybody who says that the government has no place telling people what to do with their own bodies: it's a faulty arguement. Because people oppose abortion not because it effects the woman's body but because it effects the child's body (i.e. not letting it develop, live, etc etc). It's the child they're trying to protect, not the woman. Plus, the government tells people what not to do with their bodies all the time. They say, Don't use crack, Don't smoke marijuana, don't do X.

Just an observation.

Or you could just use condoms and not have to guzzle down the birth control pills the next day...

And Pace, why do you have conversations on here with yourself?

First, to address Jessica-I would not use said prescription simply because I'm a guy and I won't get preganant...and I also am not a fan of Married...With Children. Now, to Arthur I say this - I will not be going to Crystal's because I'm 22 years old and don't feel the need to hang out at a freshman club. OK, there, I said it. But in all seriousness folks, you've been a great audience, thank you, and goodnight!

Well I said it was from Uncle Zeke, you know Peggy's crackhead uncle from Married with Children who made the zit cream for Kelly and she went bald and grew a beard after using it? So I wasn't like advocating that :-P But that does actually work, I could link you to a pharamceutical site that tells you all the same stuff, but certain jackasses dont permit me to use html. Anyways, it will make you really really nauseous and such so I don't recommend. at all. was just saying.

I am going up to Crystals to drink on those 50 cent pitchers. You should go up there for a while and introduce me to you new love toy.

And not to get off topic here Arthur, but Jessica...DAYUM! Sounds like that could be a little dangerous...but then again I have no idea about drugs and medication. Also, everyone run out and buy "The Rules of Attraction" at your local Best Buy or Circuit City. Came out on DVD yesterday. Love you all and hope you have a blessed evening. I'll be in Waco this weekend so I don't know if I'll have a chance to keep up with ye ole messageboard, but I will miss you all. Think I might be staying with Maddox in Austin for a night, but there's no for sures in this world is there.

Home-made morning after pills, brought to you by Uncle Zeke:

Lo/Ovral, Nordette or Levlen: 4 pills at one time, then 4 more 12 hours later, or
Triphasil or Tri-Levlen (only use yellow pills): take 4, then 4 more in 12 hours, or
Alesse: 5 pills at one time, then 5 more 12 hours later.
You can also try danazol (Danocrine): 600 mg once. There is less data on this regimen.

Enjoy your sex.

John Pace is a God, John Pace is a role model! For my money, the one movie you should see this year.... Kangaroo Jack! In my experience,99.5% of the time birth control pills work, so let em!

she's always a crowd favorite. mandi and i were trying to make our way to my apartment, down speedway, from jester, and ran into them. we came to the conclusion that there should be one giant protest...like an anti-abortion - anti-war - stop killing animals - OJ is guilty protest, all at once.

My favorite was the girl with a hanger.

I am pro-life for the most part, and I think these people should be added to the list of who to tar and feather next. There are better ways to get your message out than showing huge, gruesome photos of aborted babies to college students. That turns way more people off than they seem to realize.

I guess really I'm sort of undecided on the abortion issue. I don't think the government should be able to tell a woman what to do with her own body, but then again, parents don't have the option of killing their children after they're born, so why should it be legal before the child is born? You aren't capable of raising a kid? There are plenty of childless couples out there who can do it for you. And I don't want to hear that viability crap either. When you get pregnant, you have created a human life, it's as simple as that.

On the issue of rape victims, it's a different story. I cannot even imagine the psychological effects of carrying out a pregnancy that resulted from rape. Or what it would be like for a child to know he/she came from rape. And for women who could die if they carried a pregnancy to term, well, I think that's pretty self explanatory.

I know that many guys are not man enough to accept responsibility for getting a girl pregnant, but if the woman wants to force the issue, she can legally make the guy give her some type of support. This, of course, only works if the woman is not a complete slut and actually knows who the father is.
