I clepped out of 305G during orientation, and thought I was done. Then I found out I needed a stats credit for various Adv. classes, so I took stats over the summer at UTA. THEN I found out this fall that Cleveland's class would have fufilled my stats requirement, so I blew $500 out of my pocket over the summer for jack shit.
What I don't understand is why I needed 9 hours of science credit. 16 hours of a foreign language, sure. Statistics, OK. History, Government, English (though I'll never actually take an English class at UT), gotcha. But what in the hell will I get out of 6 hours of Bio and 3 of Physics? Bah.

That's what's so ridiculous. I'm a business major and I had to have at least 8 hours of calculus. The new business calculus sequence at UT even requires 12 hours of calculus for Engineering Route to Business majors and anyone who plans to do graduate work in finance. One of my TAs graduated with a civil engineering degree from A&M and is currently working on his MBA in finance/real estate, and he told me he hasn't used calculus once since his undergraduate classes, which proves my point that most people with common sense and a small amount of ingenuity can figure out how to maximize profit without using simplex tableaus.

I just have to gloat that the year I graduated, Newman Smith High School in Carrollton was the No. #1 program in the state of Texas for Calculus in both AB and BC levels. It's rated on number of people taking the class and the number of people who actually take and pass the exam with a 3 or higher and a bunch of other ratio calculations. I came from that program. I took the AP exam and received 6 credit hours of Calc for my 4 on the exam.
Oh and Architecture major are only required to have 3 hours of Calc.

Who gives a shit? 95% of his wins came at Indiana, you jackass. So what's your point? That Lubbock Community College still sucks, and is still full of small-dicked, insecure faggots like yourself?

Just thought you aggies should know, Bobby's going for win #800 this Saturday in college station. Which, by the way, is probably more games than your university has won in its entire history.

Yeah, y'all can't complain about math.
And geeze, this isn't the first time someone has created a fake news page. The sad thing is how many people believe it.

Excuse me while I gloat about the fact that I clepped out of math completely...
I do know a lot of people kicking themselves for not taking business calc when it was offered. I was thrilled to be done with math, but then I found out I had to have a statistics credit... now THAT was fun, let me tell you. Statistics in 5 weeks at 8 a.m. every day... ew.

Oh God, I absolutely hated the calculus sequence. Especially those damn "discussion" sections. Who wants (or needs) to spend 5 hours a week in math classes? And I have yet to seriously use any of the techniques I learned in either course. 408C isn't as bad as 408D though.
