The funny thing is, the big story on ESPN.COM on game day was about the rivalry between Tech and A&M. I think it's hilarious that A&M refuses to look at Tech as a rival, because we're not in the same class.

Well, after this weekend, I'd have to agree. We're a step above! We're a better program than A&M. Look at the past 8 years... we've won 6 out of those 8! We're consitently play better than A&M, it's just hard to get the respect because we don't have the history.
And Texas A&M thinks they're on the same level with UT... that's crap... nobody at UT respects A&M at all, except for the idiots posting here.

you say that A&M losing to Tech was not a upset. i was there, trust me, it was an upset. look who you were playing, were not even ranked, and we won. are you fucking stupid or something. ya'lls record under your coach up until this game in your home field was 72-9-2. only 9 loses in 72 games. that is one hell of a record, and yall ended up losing to us. i do have to say that Tech's defence does suck, and that should be more of a reason for a ranked team to win against us. but when we won, all of your wooping and quear ass shit that yall do in the middle of the game didnt help yall from stoping all the touchdowns we made to end up kicking yalls ass. get your facts strait. it was a huge upset, seeing that the Tech-A&M game is ranked as one of the best games, somewhere around the top 10 or 20 games, i dont remember off of the top of my head.

1) My allegiance to my school was never part of the conversation. I never tried to dress up that the loss against Tech wasn't embarassing (though very predictable) but... we also aren't hyped by the media to be one of, if not the, best team in the nation. OSU blowing the game late (which is what happened, Texas sure didn't win it themselves) @ Texas one of hte supposed "best teams in the nation" is pretty embarassing. Us losing to Tech was barely even an upset.

Look...I went to A&M and am now at UT for law school. And guess what kids...UT is not all that bad. Sure, there are some annoying liberals always protesting about something or other, but for the most part it's not all that different from A&M. You walk around the campus and the people you see don't look or act much different. Of course, at UT you don't see guys in uniform, but then again, at A&M you don't see homeless people everywhere. Each school has some things that are good...some that are bad...and a LOT of things that are the same. So, CP, don't go around saying UT has the rudest people or whatever, because like you said...every school has jackasses. In fact, you say you "know" every school has morons, but that UT has the most. How would you know that? Because a few UT fans pissed you off? There are 50,000 Longhorns and 46,000 Aggies...surely you haven't met them all. So don't generalize based upon a few bad experiences. When I was at A&M I went to the A&M-UT baseball game, and behind me were 4 of the most obnoxious UT fans ever. They were drunk, loud, swearing, and making rude comment the whole game...and this was in the section where a lot of older Aggie fans and their families were. I was really pissed off...but I didn't then go around claiming that all Longhorns are the worst fans...because I have met hundreds of other ones who don't act like jackasses. Same goes for A&M...there are Aggies who throw ice at LCC fans in the stands, but 99% of us were cordial to you guys and even congratulated you on the win.

I guess my point is that A&M and UT are more alike than everyone thinks, and that no one (especially from LCC) should say that one of our schools has (worse fans/hotter women/better parties/etc.) than the other. Because you can't possibly know that.
