Well, I wasn't gonna talk about it, but since you asked ...
First, and most importantly, our offense is still sitting on their asses. Oh yeah, and Dusty Mangum suddenly decided to stop hitting his field goal attempts. The guy missed 3 today, I believe.
Secondly, OSU was much better than our players and coaches seemed to be expecting. They played with a lot of heart, especially their QB, who got sandwiched between two of our guys and was down for a significant amount of time, before he picked himself up and almost led his team to a win. This team will upset someone this year and make it to a bowl game, mark it down.
Finally, the refs sucked horrendously. Two pass interference calls that were total bullshit, an offensive face mask penalty on Cedric Benson that was also total bullshit, and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that came from out of nowhere. No one could figure out what the hell was up with that. It happened when OSU's coaches were going apeshit, wanting yet another pass interference call, and I think one of our players said something to them. That's my best guess. The refs seemed to think that no one should be allowed within 5 yards of Rashaun Woods. So, for future reference, if your CB so much as looks at Rashaun Woods, watch out for the flag.
As I said earlier, I think this will be good for the Horns. They needed a reality check. And they better get their shit together between now and next Saturday because that's as real as it gets.

Oh boy...I expect that for the next week or so, this message board will be plagued with dumbfucks who try to claim that a one-point win in overtime constitutes an "ass kicking". It was a great game, one of the more exciting Aggie games I have ever been to. At the end of regulation, it was TIED. Both teams played great. And with the help of our excuse for a kicker, LCC squeaked out a win. I was pleased to see the Ags put up over 500 yards of offense. Of course, none of that matters when you let the other team complete 40+ passes and get 544 yards of offense. A&M has this annoying habit of getting an early lead in big games, and then sitting back, crossing their fingers, and praying that the clock runs out of time before the other team finishes their comeback. You can't get a two or three score lead and then play like pussies the rest of the game - playing soft on receivers, giving up the 5-6 yard pass, and running the ball on 3rd and 8 just to take another 30 seconds off the clock before punting. Ya gotta be aggressive the whole game, not just in the first 3 quarters.
What the fuck happened to UT today? A two-point win at home against OSU? Someone fill me in, I haven't seen the highlights.
