I bought 1 book this semester for a grand total of 16 bucks, the other 2 were on reserve at the library so I didnt buy em, ehh forget it, not arguing..... its a wasted cause. For me I dont have 30 profs to choose from or browse thru, for 3 of the classes im in next semester there is only one professor. After figuring out my schedule it only left me 2 professors open for geology to choose from, thus I was upset cuz I wouldnt use pick a prof as much as the next person. Either way I need more sleep.

I've used it for well over 30 classes so far, and I know people who have used it for much more... With any large database there is going to be some lack of information... The site counts on professor's grading history being available and students contributing reviews -- maybe the prof you are looking up hasn't been around long? As far as the SGA database, what makes pickaprof so good is not the grade distributions but the student reviews -- I like to be able to read what kind of tests I'll be getting and the attendance policy before I register for a class. As for the $5, I'm sure you don't even spend the extra 10 minutes it takes to browse the internet to find a better deal on your textbooks, so $5 obviously isn't that big a deal -- it is because it was something that used to be free, but now it isn't.

You get the freakin 5 bucks back when you reserve and buy your books at almost any of the local bookstores and just about everyone I know buys at least one book at loupot's, or rothers etc. all of my profs are on there so i think its a great deal...so yeah

Pick A Prof doesn't have every professor, much less the professors in classes with more than one section. 5 bucks to check out a maximum of maybe 2 profs when I can do it for free at the SGA webpage is alot in my opinion. Call me cheap but thats an easy pitcher of Bud Light and change.

Yeah... Charging a whopping $5 for an incredibly useful resource of professor reviews for over 10 schools... What a ripoff.

THANK YOU SOO MUCH, I hate it when i get stuck with the shitty prof and my friends just coast through. Just incase anyone has these classes next semester, take lemmon for phys 306, and lafon for geog 203.
pick a prof SUCKS, they want to charge 5 bucks now to use their services, its not even guaranteed that they have your professors. Does anyone know the tamu website that shows professors old grade histories? I know it exists, I used it this summer, can't find it now thou.

Did my eyes deceive me this morning as I open the paper and see the Lubbock High School (Yes the real Lubbock High School not LCC) Academic Decathalon Team placed 3rd in the nation yesterday? What's funny is those people on the team will probably get scholarships to schools other than LCC so the world is still safe and no chance of average LCC IQ going any higher.
On another note Happy Birthday Matt. Glad to know you came into the truly legal world drunk off your ass.
