I read your mail today to the Battalion. Very well written opinion, and I totally agree with you a 100% on that jackass Professor Jensen from UT. Yet, I think it is a duty of a democracy to let jackasses like him be heard even though many of us don't want to hear his jibberish. Thats why I take the Libertarian stance on many things. But I do agree with you that Professor Jensen is a disgrace to UT faculty and students everywhere, and they should consider post-tenure review!!

Hey y'all!
I had the absolute most bizarre weekend in Oklahoma--we actually made it to the basketball game on Saturday night despite the bad weather, but we missed seeing Jason Boland on Friday night because we were stuck in a hotel room in Norman! The Aggies seriously almost pulled off that game--my best friend was nearly in tears at one point because she was so sure we were going to beat them(obviously, she's an OSU fan). :) Oh, and this game wasn't the one where they dedicated the memorial--Erin had that messed up.
Anyhow--just wanted to tell y'all that I got to see lots of snow this weekend. :) It was pretty but slick.

We're at the Plaza Motel, wherever the hell that is in PCB. Yes, beads, beads, and more beads...they come in handy and are worth the pit stop in N'awlins.

Bluto, Matt, and the rest of the crew going to Panama City---where are ya'll staying at? Me and my crew from Club cooner are staying next to the clubs. Unfortunately we'll be going straight there without any stops in New Orleans. But from what I understand, the beads come in handy on spring break.

I can see having buses take you to parties...hell that'd be nice if there was a whole bus system set up to do that in college towns...but having the Hawaii 5-0 and TABC staring you down as you try to drink and hook up? Not my idea of a fun night.

Most sororites and fraternities are required to take buses under risk management by-laws put in place by their university. Here, the fraternities only take buses out of town, but most sororities take buses to "unnamed" locations in town. It sucks, but in a way it makes sense.

Yes, it's called the Jalapeno Festival.. held every February, along with the rest of the "Washington's Birthday" celebrations. And Laredo is about 98% Hispanic. How do I know this? I am from Laredo (born and raised). If you ask me, though, the Jalapeno Festival is nothing but a dirt-fest. Anyway...

No, but the contest he won is held every year in Laredo...and there are a lot of Mexicans there.
