I know you're not friends with her, and I wasn't referring to you specifically. I was referring to people who insult her personally just because they don't agree with or care about what she writes. My point was that -- even if people think that what she writes is "incoherent ramblings" -- it doesn't necessarily follow that people have to call her 1) an idiot, 2) a retard, 3) worthless, or 4) a bitch.

Another idea would be to just ignore her posts if you don't like reading what she has to say, instead of wasting time commenting on each one. There's an original idea! Again, I wasn't referring to you in particular...just to the person (or people) who post under names like "Mrs. Piggy" and who get some sort of sick pleasure from insulting and degrading someone they've either never met or they barely know.

To get the record straight, I've never been friends with Jolie. I've sat quietly listening to her boring life; never having anything important or relevant to say. I think we've all just started to tolerate less and less.

If Jolie would not post such stupid "one-dimensional" shit that makes no sense and no one cares to hear then she won't get our one-dimensional smacks of "hatred and degradation." Honestly she brings it on herself.

I know I have ragged on Jolie about stuff she has written on here...usually I've done it in an obviously sarcastic manner under creative names that hopefully most people picked up on, because in reality I think she is a great person when you get to know her outside of the one-dimensional context of an internet message board. But I think it's time she be left alone. Honestly, you can find something better to say on this board instead of insulting the same person over and over in response to anything they say. And I know some of you, like me, do it as a joke. But some of the messages directed at her have a real edge to them that just smacks of hatred and degradation, and that's taking it too far.
