I'd take dorm parking at A&M over dorm parking at UT any day though...

That said, no matter what school you're at, you should live in the dorms your freshman year. It's pretty well recognized that it's better for freshmen to do so--schools that can accomadate the demand usually require freshmen to either live on campus or with a relative off campus.

I don't think I'd consider parking one of the PERKS of dorm life... Yeah its nice to walk to class, but if you drive anywhere, don't plan on getting a spot within a city block of your dorm... I don't know how many times I decided not to go hang out a friends house just because my car was too damn far :)

Definitely live in a dorm your first year. It's an easy way to meet hundreds of people, and living in a dorm is the way to experience "true" college life.

Yeah, girls should always have a message board outside their dorm door, along with their picture. My sister woke up one morning to find a guy's number written on her message board. She called, they met...and got married 4 years later.

Dorm, dorm, dorm. Living off campus has its perks but don't do that until you've spent at at least 1 year in a dorm. It's a whole different experience and one that everyone should have. Plus bonfire will be back next year and if you want to participate in that you need be atached to a dorm or corps outfit. Of course, they did away with cut tha bastards.... Dammit, now I'm off-topic. Anyway, dorm life is part of college, don't miss out on it.

Basketball season hasn't been very long, but knowing how bad we sucked last year I am worried. We were ranked barely above Tech at the end of last season. Nolan was getting it together at the end of last season. Hopefully he has it together by now, and we can Beat the Hell outta Tech on Wednesday.

I've always been an Indiana fan, so it will be cool to see Bobby Knight coach in person, but as far as our chances go... well the wheels have finally come of the bus, and not at the best time. At OU, Tech at home, and AT Missouri... Not a pretty Big 12 start.
