A&M may only be an hour and a half away from the Houston, but dumbass... most people that go to A&M don't live in College Station during their during break.

Just like how Tech sold out all of this season's basketball tickets in advance? What they meant by that is that Texas Tech University cut a big fat check to itself for all of those basketball tickets, students didn't buy them.

And let's not forget the fact that, irregardless of any statistical data, Tech still sucks ass.

Don't be an idiot. You bought the damn bowl with that ticket deal.

Average attendance at Tech football games: ~44,000
Capacity: 50,500

Average attendance at A&M football game: ~80,000
Capacity: 82,600

And let's not forget the numerous state attendance records.

I found some statistics for all of you who said the Alamo Bowl made a mistake inviting Texas Tech since there was no way we would sell half of our allotted tickets. Enjoy.

1) Texas Tech sold all 25,000 tickets allotted to us for Alamo bowl, most in the Big XII.
2) A&M sold 10,000 tickets, 5th most out of the 8 Bowl teams in the Big XII.
3) A&M is 90 miles from the Astrodome.
4) The three teams A&M beat in ticket sales, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Texas, have to travel 770, 1130, and 1300 miles respectively.

This information came from the Austin American-Statesman, the same paper that rated all 24 bowl games (excluding the New Orleans Bowl) in order of excitement. Texas A&M was 24th.

Its not just about the music. Its about being around friends, drinking beer, goofing around on the guitar. I miss sitting on the porch with the guys just goofing around about things. Things that are real, things that are fake, things that are just funny. Just making things up randomly off the top of your head. Go to an after party after one of these shows, it will cease to amaze you. Oh yeah Yes people outside of Texas and Oklahoma know who they are. Pat, who is the big break through in Texas Music, is just now getting national coverage. Just give it time.

Jolie, if you're such a huge fan of music, i have two questions for you:

1) do you even know who CCR is? (once again, not Cross Candian Ragweed)

and

2) can you name roughly ten other (relatively unknown) bands who appear on the club circuit in Texas and Oklahoma besides Cross Canadian Ragweed?

Not to be a pain in the ass, but my God! Anyone who uses the acronym CCR to refer to anything other than Creedence Clearwater Revivial should be shot.

CCR, is what every one calls them or Cross, for short. Usually I write Cross, but I was tired. I wasn't comparing them to Elvis at all. I was just comparing it to seeing the home of the music. Although Cody does a mean Elvis. It is soooo cute. Too bad Shannon is sooo awesome, otherwise I would be stealing that man from under her nose. Not really, I couldn't be with a guy that lives that lifestyle. Watch me end up marrying a man like that. Thats ok, Cody is a great a guy.
