THIS JUST IN...tech is now a national powerhouse! thats why they have the best qb in texas committed to thier school! if you really want to talk alumni bring it the FUCK on! A&M and Ut will always rule the state, they may have their off years, but i promise that 1 of the 2 schools will not only be high in the rankings, but will compete for the national championship every year, thats just the way it its. i cant wait for the day when tech is ranked in the top 10...it will be a cold day in hell my friends, a COLD, COLD day

The first comment I made was just about the school in general...nothing I haven't said before. My second comment was in response to what Kelly said, and that comment was not directed at anyone in particular. That was aimed at the really slow students who still sneak through Tech's admissions. I've known Brad since kindergarten, and those remarks weren't directed at him or anyone in particular.

It wasn't so much the students, as for the faculty at the Jr College that I attended that were sooo dumb. They did not comprehend the fact that "I am sooo smart S-M-R-T," that I didn't have to take the TASP. They tried to tell me although I go to A&M, I was still going to have to take the TASP test b/c I had no results on record. I was like HELLO I AM EXCEMPTED, I GO TO A&M. It was funny. Well anyway it is nap time. Then it is study time, and I AM ALWAYS PRAYING TO THE FINAL GODS THAT I ACE MY FINALS, AND THAT THE CURVES COVER MY ASS. PLEASE JOIN ME IN A SACRIFICE OF PENNIES AT MIDNIGHT AT THE FEET OF OL' SUL ROSS. (I did that tonight, and I am performing the sacrifice for the next 2 nights. Please join in an interesting study break, which hopefully will bring as much luck as it did in '99.)

looks like the BIG XII will have another shot at the national title...on a personal note, i went to a jr college (blinn) before i got into A&M, but thats cuz i am from Virginia and i only applied to one school (Bonfire '98 made it clear to me that there was only one place in the nation worth going, and i could have played football a few places)...A&M for those idiots who didnt pick up on that...needless to say, its tough to get in when you are out-of-state, but i stuck with it, kicked ass at blinn and now, one and a half years later, i am an Aggie and i would trade it for the world...WHOOP! (by the way, i had the grades and SAT's to get in as an in-state applicant)

Now, you can't knock everyone at a junior college. Some of them are quite intelligent and are there for reasons other than the low level of difficulty--and they're all smart enough not to go to a community college with four year university prices, ala LCC.

People thought I was crazy when I went to Jr College over the summer that I didn't have to take the TASP. They did not comprehend the fact that I am smarter than them, and did not have to take a test made for dummies. Thank god for A&M and people that realize that not every one has to take the TASP test.

Brian, you might want to rephrase that into something they can comprehend.

Any school that continues to accept students up until 30 days prior to the start of the semester does not HAVE admissions standards. They have a quota that they're desperately trying to fill. It says something when you have two schools, UT and A&M, that sit back and turn down kids that graduated with 1200 SAT scores and in the top twelve percent of their class because they don't have spots for them. Those are admissions standards.
