A&M defense gets an "A" and the A&M offense gets an "F". The Wrecking Crew can only hold off t.u. for so long; at some point Mark Farris has to get his head out of his ass and throw a pass that gets within 2 yards of an open receiver. A&M had a couple of shitty calls against them, but nothing that would have changed the outcome significantly. Overall, though, the t.u. offense played just as bad for the first 3 quarters...I mean, I think Simms had his worst game of the season, passing yardage-wise. And the Wrecking Crew pretty much shut down the t.u. running game. But again, that all doesn't mean shit if the offense can't get a first down, much less put together an offensive drive. Hats off to t.u. for pulling out the win, but with all due respect, I don't t.u. looked like a National Championship team.
And for the record, I stayed until 00:00 and the pseudo-Yell Practice (consisting of only 3 yells for some reason...). Oh, and hats off again to the t-sip fans for not raping the field and turning goal posts into weapons of mass destruction. Fucking LCC...

Adam it will take alot more than 12th man to get you back to within national championship hopes. Come on it's been almost a full 70 years since the last one the Ags have won. Don't get me wrong nothing gets me more ready to puke then when Kyle Field starts 'swaying', but Maroon OUt, 12th man, The corp, The band, bonfire, yell practice, all of it doesn't add up to shit if the individual and team efforts of the players and coaches isn't up to par. If the goal is to have something to show for it at the end of the season, the traditions are just background noise. Doesn't matter if it's just something to hold onto when when your team isn't winning, or something to show when your team is at it's best. The team has to get it done to keep the fans wanting more.
Sometimes I don't blame the 2%ers. If I were an Aggie, and had a winning football team that didn't have to settle for the Alamo Bowl again, then I might become a true Aggie giving 100% or more. But with RC at the helm and injuries killing the lines alot of 2%ers are gonna remain. But don't take my word for it, I'm just a fair weather Sooner after all.

2 fucking %ers. that was one of the worst displays of aggie pride i have ever seen. to watch aggies leaving before the game was over made me sick. our fans are one reason that kyle field is such a tough place to play. its sorry ass aggies like those who left and didnt stay for yell that are costing this school such great traditions as Bonfire. you should all be ashamed. for all those Ags that stayed and yelled their hearts out for the last 2 minutes of the game, thank you, you help keep traditions alive. Aggies dont leave until the clock reads 0:00, win or lose. tu played a good game, although our defence played as well as any defence in the country today, well done Crew. our offence needs a change, and that change is in the play calling. pass on 3rd and 2? what the fuck RC? let dino take over and you call the D.
the beer at the chicken tonight was cold, just like i like it.
where was my 12th man? you looked like tu fans, only cheering when your team was doing well. i am sicken by the 12th man. such a wonderful tradition going to shit all beacuse you want to beat the traffic or hurry home to get dolled up for some gay ass frat party.
i am proud to say that i have never left a game early and i have given my all for my team at every game i attened, whether at home or away. i wish that all 46,000 of you would do the same, then maybe we would hoist a national championship trophy come jan. we need to fix this ags. dont let such an amazing thing to to waist, stand up and let other ags know how you feel about their shortcomings. let the 12th man live on.
thanks and GiG "Em
Adam '03
didnt mean to rant, i just had to get some things off my chest
