Yeah, it just won't stop raining up here. And unfortunately the idiots who designed Lubbock decided they would save money and not install a drainage system. So the town is pretty much flooded. Just one more of the things I love about Lubbock (right up there with being dry and smelling like cow shit every time the wind blows the wrong way).

I miss bad weather. Here all you have is rain, rain, and more rain. Being that my family lived in Tornado Alley as long as I know of I miss the thrill of the gushing wind, hard fast rain pounding, and the thunder bolts lighting up the sky. It is soooo awesome. It'll be a battle of the defenses, and the key for A&M will be to shut down Simms early, or knock him out of the game (a la Notre Dame). I figure Scates will get a field goal workout (since A&M has an offensive touchdown phobia) and he'll hit 3 of 4 and put the Ags over the edge.

The oldest overall is Lafayette vs. Lehigh(1884, 136 games). Army vs. Navy started in 1890, but they have played 101 times. Note: The Texas/Texas A&M rivalry got so bitter that we didn't play from 1912-1914.

i am guessing that the 2nd oldest, if not army/navy would be va/va tech or another east coast matchup. ivy league maybe? i dont know, just a guess.
