Again you have proven to be a dumbass.

A) UT is ranked #1 by Playboy in girls. Typing Monkey will refer you to the link.

B) Your parties suck. We know this. Don't argue. Outdrink us? What kind of stat is that? It doesn't matter because you can't even by alcohol in city limits.

C) Your education department is ranked up there for two reasons. 1- All the dumb bitches from our high school went there and decided to major in MRS or education. Therefore with that many girls there, the education department grows larger and more popular. 2- who gives a fuck where your education department is ranked? i know you're not a chick or wanting to be a teacher, so nice try.

D) The Saddle tramps were the ones in the red on the 50 yard line at the game. If you noticed, they were the ones who got onto the field first and stood behind the goalpost. In one of the pictures, a guy swinging from the goal post is seen wearing the same attire. I am almost certain I talked to him the night before the game on campus when they were "guarding" your "monuments" from the Aggies. Guard this. You fucked up our campus and UT's so get a life.

p.s. my whole story from last weekend is still coming. bunch of ignorant fucks, i swear.

p.s.s. I am not a bitter person, I just have never ever respected Tech/LCC.

Again I will say Tech had a higher percentage of graduating seniors pass the Fundamentals Exam than both ut and a&m. Our Ag. Dept's Judging teams beat a&m's at every competition. AND as it has been pointed out, our Education Dept. has certification recognized nationwide. That makes me wonder how many other Depts we have here that reign supreme in Texas that I am just currently unaware of.

Thats all good, but probably of no interest to anyone who views this website. So I will list two more categories in which Tech rates premier in the state: alcohol consumption and girls. Tech was rated by Playboy as the #2 University in the country for best looking girls (neither a&m nor ut were ranked above us). We can also drink a&m and ut under the table. I don't have any statistics on this, but if you would like to prove otherwise, pack a bag and come to Lubbock.

How are the Saddle Tramps any different from the Corps besides the fact that they can have hair?

Does anyone know about parties at the Co-op, not the bookstore but those housing units. They are supposedly having 26 kegs tonight for their 26th anniversery, but 26 just sounds like too much.

Well, first of all the saddle tramps are a bunch of loser frat- wannabees. They are a tradition for sure, but aren't cool guys. Possibly what A&M thinks of some of the corp. About 20 years ago it was badass to be a saddle tramp, but not these days.

And about a department that may outrank A&M, its not a huge department, actually one of Tech's smallest- the Education department. Tech's teaching certification is accepted pretty much nation wide, whereas most Texas Universities' certification is only good in Texas. I know some of you engineering people are thinking "oh, please, education?" But remember- these (few) men and women will be teaching your children some day. Also dont forget- partially why you are so successful in school today is because you had excellent teachers along the way. I know Tech's department is highly respected in that sense and in this department. I have never heard anything about UT or A&M, partially because those schools are engineering & business related schools, and that is their main focus. Baylor also has an excellent education department as well.

Intelligent posts? You are obviously way too shallow to understand the purpose of our posts. I'm tired of listening to your incoherent rambling about Tech and would rather talk about drinking and partying.

Oh, Saddle Tramps. *pukes* The largest case of "I must convince myself my dick is big enough" I've ever seen. But hey, people say they were the ones cool enough to vandalize UT after the game this year, so here's betting there were quite a few hanging off of the goal post too.

As far as the rankings: if prestige does factor in (too lazy to look it up), it's certainly not going to bring Tech down THAT far. Alumni support to A&M could potentially help, but I don't think it'd be the thing that knocks A&M over the top. A&M and UT are literally two of the best public institutions in the country. If memory serves, I think they tied for 15th overall out of all public schools. I don't recall Tech even making the list. There's not a department that both Tech and A&M contain where Tech is superior. And as so many have said before: at least you can buy booze in College Station.

Let's not talk about shatting oneself, Wheatables. Please - this is a family place.

Oh wait, no it isn't. What the fuck was I thinking? GO AHEAD, SHAT AWAY!

RaiderPride, I have a feeling that you are or know that same stupid fuck from Tech who tried to convince me that your engineering school was vastly superior to A&M's. I was standing by the Will Rogers statue last Friday and this dumb Saddle Tramp bastard said Tech had one of the best engineering schools in the country. I almost shat myself.

I should have specified the basis for my comments. Part of US News rankings is prestige. Of course yall will beat us on that since historically A&M has been better. My information came from the results of the graduating seniors taking the certification exam. Tech had a higher percentage pass than both a&m and ut. Maybe that is because we graduate fewer engineers, I don't know. And for the Agriculture statistic, I based my statement on the fact that Tech's judging teams (meat, dairy, etc.) beat a&m at almost every meet each fall and each spring. Maybe that doesn't mean that Tech's Ag. dept. is superior, but the representatives that our school sends are.

When did a&m drop the meaning of the letters? And why?

Well, US News does rank graduate schools for agriculture. Naturally, A&M tops that list. I didn't see Tech anywhere on the list though.

First of all, the A and the M officially stand for nothing. They formerly stood for Agricultural and Mechanical. Second, where did you come up with these stats? I have no idea who ranks schools of agriculture, but I would venture to say that our's is far superior to that of Tech's. As far as engineering goes, let me take a glance at the latest US News rankings. A&M's engineering college is 17th in the nation. Tech's is 77th. Ten individual engineering departments at A&M are ranked. At Tech, only one was ranked. And just so you know, we outranked you in that one department.

We just had a couple of intelligent postings. I'm impressed. guys like "ass" make us look like a bunch of uneducated, shallow-minded, hot-tempered people (much like the ones who destroyed our own school property and antagonized opposing fans and then were shocked that they retaliated). every school has them.

For those who were wondering if we could name one academic subject Tech beats atm at, I would rather name two: Agriculture and Engineering. What do the A and the M stand for in A&M again? Agriculture and Mechanical (engineering)? I don't know if we beat yall in any other category, but I do find it amusing that we are superior (at least in the last two years we have been) in the two categories that a&m is founded on.

Okay I figured I'd get on the soap box. One of the 12 ags who died in the bonfire collapse was one of my sisters ex-boyfriend's. The guy from Carrollton, Micheal Ebanks. I've been to his house, he was in the same Boy Scout Troop as I was. I know it was a tragedy. And I'm not passing blame or putting blame towards anyone, and I know it is a long held tradition for A&M. But I have to agree with the hiring of an outside engineering and construction firm to oversee designing and construction. Being student run there was WAY too much room for error. Even guys that have been doing it for years make mistakes. At least if there are any problems in the future people will know where the problem came from. I'm sure student involvement will be at the most it legally can be. After all it's a tradition.

And all I can say for the planned off campus unofficial bonfire happening this year is that it better not be found by police, school officials, or anyone with pull at the University. If it is, you can kiss Bonfire away. Wouldn't want to be the few aggies that ruined it for everyone else, since not every ag condones it. just like I wouldn't want to be one of the Techies that carried a goal post across a field since not all Tech students condoned that either.

*steps off the tamut soap box* Next.

who fucked with Bonfire? you are a sorry excuse for a human being. i guess if your school did something to unite raiders across the country and symbolize what it is to be a raider, like Bonfire does for Aggies, you just might understand. but it goes without saying that red raiders could do anything so amazaing if yall are taught that tearing down your own goal posts after winning a game in which you were favored is the thing to do. i have no respect for any of you, and when it come times for me to hire people you can bet your ass that i wont have red raider working for me.

Drop it. What happened is over with. You can't change the past, but we can learn from it. Look at how childish we are being. We can look into the future and realize it happened, get over it. We can't change the fact that it happened, but we can change our childish ways.

Hey, don't bring up TCC in the same sentence with LCC... Fort Worth is quite a bit nicer than Lubbock :)
