hey kiddos--
i'm ba-ack! i had tons of fun up in montana and i'm not the least bit sad i missed all this lcc ruckus. i tried to watch the game while i was playing pool with matt and his friends, but it wasn't even on up there.
i'm now totally hooked on this stuff called chai--like matt says, it tastes like christmas.
anyhoo--just wanted to say that montana was like way pretty and fun as always.
this is going to be a looong week, but i'm looking forward to all sorts of wild and crazy stuff this weekend. :)

i can amlost assure you that they will not treat the OU fans better. although there were no bottles chucked at me this year, i have come to the conclusion that they really have nothing else to do there. its obvious that they dont spend their time learning. they would rather pick fights with our players parents (who just happen to work for gov. perry)

good job representing the state of texas so well guys!! next time i'm at the alamo i'll paint a big double T on the side of it, it will save you bastards the drive.

i sure am glad that tech is so far in the middle of nowhere.

Damn, I just read the articles of the incidents following the A&M / Tech game completely and the picture from ESPN of the goal post being walked across the field. Simply disturbing. I can understand tearing down the goalpost. Hell OU did it after the win over Nebraska last year in Norman. But unlike the tech fans, the goalposts weren't guarded and once it was taken down, it stayed on the ground. Plus the win over Nebraska was something to worth celebrating in the road to the Orange Bowl. But Tech beating A&M. Not to diminish the game, but it didn't really matter in anybodies chances at any major bowl hopes so why tarnish the University's reputation and further emphasize the third tier ranking by doing something like this.
I think it's ironic too. "This behavior is an embarrassment to the University and will not be condoned by students, alumni or fans of Texas Tech."
-Gerald Myers, Texas Tech Director of Athletics
Hey Gerald the behavior was done by students so obviously it was condoned by the ones that participated. Maybe if Tech had people at the gates checking for flasks and making sure the water in bottles coming in is actually water then maybe some of this bad behavior can be avoided. Oh well just hope the fans in Lubbock are far more hospitable when OU makes a visit in 2 weeks.

Don't worry Ags, this coming weekend after a loss in Norman, you'll have 2 weeks to prepare for the ass whipping UT deserves this year for being so arrogant in football, not in school. Yes they are winning, but they have to redeem themselves for the loss in the cotton bowl. Interesting weekend. We went from a huge matchup weekend to this past weekend with no major matchups with exception to the A&M / Tech game.
UT beat Baylor - Duh
Nebraska beat KU - Duh
OU beat Univ. of Tulsa - Duh
Miami beat some unranked team - Duh
The only game of interest was the A&M game and perhaps the Loss VTech received from the Pitt.

By the way one of the PBS channels (Channel 2 in Dallas) shows the Texas Aggie Band Show late night on Sundays. I have to say it's pretty interesting. Almost like watching the US Army's regimental band, only on a football field. The only reason I bring it up, is because it was far more interesting to watch then Sidelines.

no, man that was a comment to all the LCC people who are proud to go there when they win...but sidelines in also pissing me off

In case that was a response to my comment on the home page, I would like you to know that I am always proud to be an Aggie. I just wanted to work in a shot at Sidelines for not showing the best aspects of this university.

It surely will. We really haven't had a close series since '97. There wasn't much excitement to the Yanks winning three straight series with a 12-1 record.

Proud to be an Aggie. Always will be. How can i not? The last thing we did to get the nations attention was raise $150,000 for the victem of 9-11-01...not tear down our own goal posts and act like a bunch of fools. You won the game, congrats, you deserved it. We did not play well, and you did. but once again, the ags come out with a victory. For all the Ags that stayed for the post game yell, and to all the Ags that wore their Aggie hats and shirts with pride after the game...Thanks and GiG 'EM.

to all the raiders who found it amusing to damage your own school, glad to see that you are all learning how to act in the real world. see you all in a few years when you want a job.

No doubt about that. That'll be one of the greatest world series matchups in the history of the game.

That was one of the greatest World Series games I have ever seen. Yanks get the lead when Soriano puts a tough, low, 0-2 splitter into the left field seats, and the D-Backs win it against a guy who was 24/25 in postseason save opportunities. You can't ask for much better baseball.

P.S. There is no need to bring up the three Yankee errors and the poor bunting fundamentals to refute my claim that that was great baseball.

Lean On Me being a Morgan Freeman vehicle about an inner city school principal using unorthidox methods to turn his school around. Sadly, Wil Wheaton, River Pheonix, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Connel, and Kiefer Sutherland were all cut during casting due to their lack of "ethnicity.".

Dynasty your ass? Twenty-five plus world series championships accounting for about one fifth of all world series champions...whatever you say buddy.

YYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

FUCK THE YANKEES! FUCK THE YANKEES! Dynasty, my ass. Mariano Rivera, choker!

Ok, not really ... second blown save in 27 postseason chances. But man, it really feels good to see all those long-time major leaguers get their rings - Props to Mark Grace. 3 for 3 on a controversial start over Durazo. And for the nicest guy in the bigs, Luis Gonzales, game winner. I love it. I love it, I love it.

YEAH.

dammit ... talking about how good a bunter jay bell is, and he fucking shoots it right towards the pitcher ... dammit, how can you be a major leaguer and not know how to bunt a ball down a foul line?

The only reason I brought it up is b/c that is the reason we were so up about that game. It meant a lot to us, atleast thats what it meant to me.

Commandancy of Section 15
Jones Stadium, Nov. 3rd 2001

To the People of College Station & all Aggie-americans in the world --

Fellow farmers & 12th men -- I am besieged by a thousand or more of the Techsicans under Leach -- I have sustained a continual Bombardment & cannonade for 60 minutes & have only given up 12 points -- The enemy demanded passage out of the stadium, otherwise, the fans are to be put to the goalpost, if the section is taken -- I have answered the demand with binoculars, & we are still humping it proudly from the walls -- I shall never surrender, or go to my car. Then, I call on you in the name of RC, of Reville & everything dear to the aggie character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch -- The enemy is receiving reinforcements every hour & will no increase to three or four thousand before they decide to go get some dinner and something to drink. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain as long as possible & then run to the newspapers and tell them I work for the governor.

Victory or Shreveport!

It's not possible for everyone to get along. Some people are stubborn, some people are ignorant...and some people are selfish, insecure, jealous bastards who delight in making everyone elses' lives miserable. So you can see, the world is full of all kinds of different people who ruin it for those who are just trying to be happy.
