Anyway--then I suppose that the concept of the guy staying at home with the kids is completely foreign? Geeze people! And do you Techies never learn? Every time you ramble on like that you merely convince us further why you're at LCC--it must be so that the rest of society doesn't have to put up with you. That'd explain the Lubbock location.

LCC dude can bite my ass. I am looking for a man and an awesome job. I can only that my job will be as flexible as my mom's. She was able to take and pick me up from school everyday. I want to be there for my kids like my mom was there for me. But like Hell I am going to cook and clean, that is what the maid is for. Yeah when you and your husband both make triple digits, and are respected figures in your community its not hard to be "perfect." Which is what we are all striving to be

THERES NOTHIN FUCKIN WRONG WITH HOT CHICKS WANTING TO GET MARRIED, I DONT WANT TO MARRY SOME 'CAREER WOMAN.' I WANT A WIFE WHO WILL COOK MY DINNER AND HAVE MY KIDS. NOT SOMEONE WHO WILL SHIP THEM OFF TO DAY CARE. ANY GUY WHO THINKS A WOMAN MAKING MORE $$$ THAN HIM IS ATTRACTIVE NEEDS TO LOCATE HIS DICK.

What is wrong with getting an MRS Degree, as long as you are serious about getting a real degree?

Well, I guess it is better than having NO education, but I'd say both situations would be a result of ignorance. And as for alimony...yeah, not if the woman is the one cheating.

Well, I suppose that if it's Daddy's money paying for the MRS degree it doesn't matter now, does it? Grr... those girls who will get married and start popping out babies as soon as they graduate are taking up valuble space and oxygen in colleges.

I guess it's better than being 33, divorced with no education whatsoever, right? ...plus, there's always alimony :)

Seeing as I was a psychology major as an undergrad, I had plenty of contact with the "pre-wed" and "MRS" majors. The sad thing is that even if these girls get married right after school and their husbands support them, statistically 50% of them will end up getting divorced. And then you're 33 years old with a degree you never put to use and no work experience. Can you say "Welcome to Wal-mart, would you like a shopping cart?"

Sorry, Mia. I copied that from a previous file, and that is why there is a spelling error on it. I fixed them both though.

Last time I was at Tech, we went to what was supposedly a huge kick ass frat party, and it was absolutely pathetic. I was not the least bit impressed. Oh, and in high school we referred to Tech as Martin University (obviously, Martin was the name of my HS). Even in high school, we realized that the ppl at tech were the ones who were pretty much "stuck in high school" so to say.
I don't get the point of coming to school to get your MRS. Wouldn't you think these girls could come up with a cheaper way to find a husband? Wait--that would involve thinking.
Oh--last thing--I'm not trying to put you down, I just thought it was funny because I'm the queen of spelling errors. :) Personally, I find it hard to "resond" to a person's statement. However, I would be quite happy to respond to Lauren's rant. :)

What major is offered at LCC that's not offered at UT? Girls that are in school merely to get an MRS piss me off to no end. And geeze, Tech "parties" suck ass. No getting around that one.
